Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid OT licensure for practice
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Ability to tailor interventions to meet unique student needs
  • Comfort and proficiency using technology for collaboration and documentation

In this role, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Delivering direct occupational therapy services to early childhood students in an educational setting
  • Conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and other related service providers for holistic student support
  • Participating in IEP meetings and documenting progress in accordance with district procedures
  • Utilizing available equipment and assessment tools to enhance your practice
  • Engaging in monthly meetings, roundtable discussions, and ongoing process improvement initiatives
