Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA certification (if applicable)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor and functional abilities to determine therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Document student progress in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, delivering comprehensive updates and recommendations
- Provide consultative support and training to staff as needed
- Adapt activities and environments to foster student independence and participation
