Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans tailored to individual needs
- Compassion, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to determine OT needs
- Develop individualized therapy plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, teachers, and families
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning environments
- Track student progress, document interventions, and adjust plans as needed
- Deliver therapy in both individual and group formats, adapting to various learning styles
