Step into a full-time role providing vital occupational therapy services in a school environment near Madison, WI, on a contract basis. This position begins at the start of the school year in late August and runs through early November, making it an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact over a concentrated period.

In this role, you’ll support students’ growth, independence, and participation by assessing needs, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with educational teams. Your experience in both school-based and home health OT will ensure that each child receives tailored and effective care.

What we’re seeking:

  • Valid OT license for Wisconsin
  • Experience delivering occupational therapy in school settings
  • Background with home health OT considered a plus
  • Skilled at developing and implementing student-centered interventions
  • Excellent communication abilities for working with students, parents, and staff
  • Able to commit to a full-time contract (37.5 hours/week) from late August through early November
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing a varied caseload
  • No COTA or virtual/remote-only (VOCO) work assigned

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and goals
  • Develop and deliver therapy plans to help students participate fully in school activities
  • Document progress and adapt strategies as needed
  • Consult and coordinate with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) as required
  • Travel between school sites if necessary
