An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in the lives of middle school students near Madison, WI for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this full-time position, you’ll collaborate with a supportive team, developing therapeutic programs that empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin (or eligibility prior to start)
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Familiarity with IEP process and relevant federal/state regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with school staff, students, and caregivers
- Ability to organize caseloads, manage time efficiently, and adapt therapy plans as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students on a middle school caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Contribute to IEP team meetings by sharing evaluation results and recommending strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records of interventions, progress, and required reports
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to students’ educational needs and developmental levels
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills for classroom participation
