Step into an impactful role supporting students’ growth as a school-based Occupational Therapist! Full-time contract opportunities are available for two passionate OTs to serve throughout the Oroville area, potentially extending to Paradise as needed. This position is perfect for travel professionals seeking a rewarding, in-person role across multiple school locations during the full academic year, August 10 through May 28, 2027.

In this dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with educators and fellow therapists. You’ll play a vital part in helping students develop skills for academic and everyday success, all while benefiting from school-provided mileage reimbursement as you travel between sites.

Your background should include:

  • California licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in providing therapy services, assessments, and creating individualized intervention plans
  • Flexibility for on-site work and willingness to travel between schools
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Dedication to upholding professional standards and maintaining accurate documentation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
  • Developing and implementing therapeutic interventions within IEP frameworks
  • Consulting with teachers, support staff, and families to foster students’ functional academic achievement
  • Traveling between assigned school locations; mileage reimbursements provided
  • Maintaining timely and thorough progress reports and records
