Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students’ growth and development as a part-time Occupational Therapist. This position calls for a compassionate and knowledgeable professional who brings expertise in school-based OT and a commitment to positive outcomes for PreK through 12th-grade learners.

You’ll have an immediate impact, overseeing a manageable caseload of 13-14 students, and making a difference across a wide age range. Your support will be needed just once a month for a dedicated 7.5-hour day, allowing you to maintain flexibility in your schedule while developing ongoing relationships with both students and staff. Additionally, you’ll take on a valuable mentorship role by supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), ensuring high-quality care and continuity of services.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Proven experience in a school-based OT setting
  • Previous experience supervising a COTA preferred
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to inclusive, student-centered practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide monthly OT services to students across PreK-12th grades in alignment with IEP goals
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a COTA, ensuring compliance and high standards of care
  • Assess students’ needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain timely and thorough records in accordance with school and district guidelines
