Step into a dynamic contract role supporting high school students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity begins on August 27, 2026, and concludes on June 16, 2027. Work within standard school hours, from 7:30am to 3:00pm, providing crucial services to a caseload of approximately 40 students. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (or eligibility) for practice in New Hampshire
  • Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting, especially with high school-aged students
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and relevant educational protocols
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads, scheduling, and documentation
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in a school-based environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a high school population with diverse needs, focusing on both individual and group interventions
  • Develop, implement, and update IEP goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Assess students’ abilities and create tailored treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and maintain compliant documentation
  • Communicate routinely with teachers and parents, providing guidance and resources as needed
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
