Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in New Hampshire
- Demonstrated experience within school-based or pediatric settings
- Familiarity or willingness to learn about augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Strong adaptability, able to work across different school environments and grade levels (K-12)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and well-being
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services and interventions to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Travel between multiple schools within the district to deliver direct therapy and consultative support
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress towards therapy goals
- Integrate use of AAC and other assistive technologies as needed
- Adapt therapy plans based on student needs and schedules
