School Occupational Therapist | Mansfield, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license through the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
• Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a varied caseload of 45–60 students, providing tailored interventions based on individual service minutes
• Comfortable working with students across multiple grade levels (K–12)
• Collaborative spirit, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with educators, families, and school support staff
• Strong organizational skills for documentation, assessment, and time management

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, direct therapy services, and consultative support in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Develop customized interventions to help students build functional skills for academic and daily living success
• Work closely with teachers and other providers to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy activities
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and collaborative problem-solving to support student needs
