Step into a dynamic school-based occupational therapy opportunity supporting PreK through 8th grade students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role spans from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and offers the chance to work across multiple sites—engaging with a diverse caseload and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience in school settings, with comfort serving students PreK-8th grade
- Familiarity with best practices for IEP development and implementation
- Strong documentation skills in online IEP platforms and proficiency in progress monitoring
- Flexibility to travel between multiple sites
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Teletherapy experience is valued; however, in-person service is required for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT interventions to students with a range of needs
- Assess, screen, and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families for holistic student support
- Plan and adapt evidence-based strategies to enhance student access to curriculum and daily activities
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations in the school setting
