Step into a dynamic school-based occupational therapy opportunity supporting PreK through 8th grade students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role spans from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027, and offers the chance to work across multiple sites—engaging with a diverse caseload and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Experience in school settings, with comfort serving students PreK-8th grade
  • Familiarity with best practices for IEP development and implementation
  • Strong documentation skills in online IEP platforms and proficiency in progress monitoring
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple sites
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
  • Teletherapy experience is valued; however, in-person service is required for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT interventions to students with a range of needs
  • Assess, screen, and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and expertise
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families for holistic student support
  • Plan and adapt evidence-based strategies to enhance student access to curriculum and daily activities
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations in the school setting
