A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children thrive in an educational setting near Manteca, CA. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Solid knowledge of assessments, IEP processes, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork with staff and parents
  • Organization and adaptability to manage caseloads effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ abilities and develop tailored treatment plans to address physical, emotional, or developmental challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Monitor progress and update goals, maintaining thorough and accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with staff to ensure optimal student outcomes
  • Provide training or resources to faculty and parents as needed
