Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of IEP process and legal compliance in educational settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt intervention strategies
- Commitment to fostering student independence and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct therapy and consultation services in classrooms and specialized settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student goals
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide training and resources for instructional staff as needed
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress notes in accordance with school policies
This full-time, in-person role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $55–$70, allowing you to enjoy rewarding work that directly impacts student development and achievement.
