This onsite role is designed to provide coverage for a maternity leave during the 2026-2027 school year, with a projected start date of September 2, 2026, through approximately February 1, 2026. In this dynamic position, you’ll work across four high schools, collaborating closely with staff and students to support successful learning experiences.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active OT license in Minnesota (Please attach license and resume for consideration)
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and caseloads
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfort and flexibility in providing leave coverage for a staff member
- Dedication to promoting student independence, functional skills, and participation in the school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs, focusing on functional outcomes
- Evaluate, develop, and implement intervention plans to help students access the curriculum fully
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Engage with students across four high school campuses, supporting a varied caseload
- Promote strategies for classroom participation, sensory regulation, and life skills
