Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in a school setting (elementary, middle, or high school) strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal writing
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities
  • Dedication to delivering individualized and evidence-based interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, sensory-processing issues, and adaptive functioning
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services to students and staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
  • Offer strategies and resources to support classroom teachers and families
