Occupational Therapist School Setting in Marcell, MN

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with students from Pre K through 12th grade. This full-time position offers a rewarding way to support student growth and development, while collaborating closely with a COTA and providing their supervision. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 1, 2026.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
• Experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
• Comfort working with diverse student populations, ages Pre K-12
• Ability to supervise and mentor a COTA as part of a collaborative caseload management team
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Passion for creating engaging, individualized interventions to help each student thrive

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
• Deliver assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 60-75 students
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes
• Work jointly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Supervise and support a COTA, ensuring compliance with best practices
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
• Support transitions and adaptations within school environments to optimize accessibility and participation
