Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active OT license in the state as required
  • Experience within a school setting preferred (but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric and school-based occupational therapy practices
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as scheduled
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and participate in the IEP process
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to foster environments that support student access to the curriculum
  • Develop, update, and document therapy plans and progress notes regularly
  • Offer guidance and training to educational staff on strategies, equipment, and adaptations
  • Support students in developing skills for classroom participation and daily living

Position Details:

  • Contract, full-time position (35 hours/week)
  • Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, ensuring you have evenings free
  • Start date: ASAP; Assignment runs until May 28, 2027
