Desired Background and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure in Florida (or eligibility)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and ability to write and implement goals tailored to K-12 students
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
• Willingness to travel between multiple school locations as scheduled

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Assess students to identify functional challenges and create goal-oriented plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy services across assigned K-12 campuses
• Collaborate with school staff and family members to support each student’s unique educational needs
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and communication
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute to team-based planning
• Deliver both direct and consultative OT services based on student IEPs
• Adapt interventions and materials to foster student participation and independence in school routines
