Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license and GaPSC certification (both required)
  • Prior experience in a school-based OT role is highly preferred
  • Background working with students with disabilities enhances your fit for this role
  • Able to clear all required background checks and provide documentation
  • Availability to deliver all services onsite—remote work is not an option

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to two assigned students, 30 minutes per week per student, based on IEP requirements
  • Conduct assessments addressing fine motor skills, sensory activities, functional abilities, and overall school participation
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education team members to recommend classroom adaptations
  • Maintain timely and clear documentation on services and student progress
  • Communicate proactively with school staff regarding student needs
  • Ensure compliance with IEP mandates and all applicable regulations
