Occupational Therapist School Setting in Marietta, GA

Step into a meaningful part-time opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapist working with 5th and 6th graders. This contract position focuses on delivering direct OT services to a small caseload at a respected educational setting near Marietta, GA. You’ll work closely with two students, providing critical support that is tailored to their individual needs. The assignment runs from ASAP through late May 2026, with sessions conveniently scheduled for 2:30 pm or later.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license and GaPSC Certification (both are required)
• Experience providing therapy in a school-based environment is preferred
• Background in supporting students with disabilities is a plus
• Ability to provide on-site services (remote options are not available)
• Required to complete all state and district clearance documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer 30 minutes of direct OT services weekly to each student in compliance with IEP mandates
• Conduct evaluations and interventions addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education professionals, and other stakeholders
• Develop and recommend classroom modifications and strategies
• Maintain accurate records and monitor each student’s progress
• Ensure adherence to all IEP requirements and applicable policies
• Foster positive communication and teamwork within the school setting
