Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in K-12 or pediatric occupational therapy, especially within schools
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments and individualized, goal-oriented therapy sessions to students onsite
- Develop, implement, and update treatment plans as part of IEP teams
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to nurture student progress
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and goal attainment
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
- Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive school community
