Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active California OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in K-12 or pediatric occupational therapy, especially within schools
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and individualized, goal-oriented therapy sessions to students onsite
  • Develop, implement, and update treatment plans as part of IEP teams
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to nurture student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and goal attainment
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive school community
