Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license
- Experience or strong interest in working in a school-based environment
- Familiarity with IEP processes and goal-setting for students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student abilities and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to determine students’ functional levels
- Develop, implement, and document individualized intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on occupational therapy strategies and student progress
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with school and professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development as needed
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups
