Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure with credentials recognized in school settings
- Previous experience or training in pediatric or school-based OT preferred
- Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student groups, including those with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services for a caseload consisting of pre-kindergarten through third-grade students, tailoring interventions to individual strengths and needs
- Deliver consultative services for one group of eight students in kindergarten through fifth grade, supporting and coaching teachers and parents
- Participate in meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and document student progress in alignment with school policies
- Employ evidence-based strategies to promote students’ fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the educational environment
