Occupational Therapist 26-27 SY

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Mariposa, CA. This full-time, in-person role is tailored for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a difference throughout the entire school year. You’ll collaborate with a talented special education team, working hands-on to inspire student growth and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California licensure as an OT or COTA
• Previous school-based OT experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educators
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, ensuring interventions align with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress and strategies for success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Document services, progress, and interventions consistently and accurately

- Direct & Indirect Services Pay
- No additional district responsibilities outside of contracted hours (bus duty, parent pickup, etc.)
- Travel therapists eligible for stipends

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.86 to $63.86. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
