This full-time position offers the chance to impact young learners’ development while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including a Physical Therapist and Adaptive Physical Education professional. You’ll benefit from the assistance of a COTA one day each week, ensuring a collaborative caseload experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Comfortable working onsite in a dynamic, shared office space
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong organizational talents for managing documentation and schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services for PreK-8th grade students
  • Assess students’ needs and maintain up-to-date, compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapy staff, and families to support students’ IEPs
  • Utilize appropriate interventions to foster students’ functional independence
  • Partake in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals
  • Support and mentor the COTA as they assist with the caseload one day per week
