Occupational Therapist School Setting in Marrero, LA

Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students’ growth and independence as a contract Occupational Therapist serving PreK–8th grade at a vibrant New Orleans-area school. This full-time, onsite position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and offers a collaborative environment: share your office with experienced PT and Adaptive Physical Education professionals, plus COTA support one day per week.

Leverage your skills as you design and implement interventions that empower students to succeed in their educational settings. Your expertise will contribute directly to learners’ development across crucial formative years.

What you bring:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Louisiana
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, with strong knowledge of OT in educational contexts
• Desire and ability to work with PreK-8th grade students with diverse needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration with staff/families
• Commitment to maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance and ethical guidelines

Role Highlights:
