Step into a highly rewarding opportunity providing expert occupational therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive school environment. This full-time, onsite contract spans the academic year, with multiple openings available. Your work will help students develop skills for success and independence, making a lasting impact across various grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in California, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Comfort adapting to the needs of diverse K-12 caseloads
  • Ability to document student progress and assessments accurately and promptly

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect OT services to assigned students individually and in small groups
  • Conduct assessments and generate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
  • Maintain timely and thorough records, reports, and IEP documentation for each student
  • Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environments
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in school team functions as needed
  • Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, and adaptive skills for school participation
