Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist Registration (OTR) and relevant state licensure
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP process and special education services
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Adaptable, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver a range of occupational therapy services to students, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide detailed documentation as needed
• Collaborate closely with educational staff to promote positive learning environments and integrate OT recommendations into classroom routines
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions, maintaining clear records and communication
• Offer guidance and support to teachers, aides, and families regarding specialized strategies and accommodations
