Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
  • Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic techniques and IEP process
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Flexible, organized, and professional approach to working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with the IEP team
  • Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support within classroom or small group settings
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings as required
  • Provide training and resources to teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Adapt therapeutic interventions creatively to meet each child’s unique needs and goals
