School Occupational Therapist | Maumelle, Arkansas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license required for the state of Arkansas
• Previous experience providing OT services within a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized school-based therapy interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexible, compassionate, and passionate about fostering student development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals
• Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determination and progress documentation
• Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Train and advise staff and caregivers on strategies that promote functional independence at school
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and professional guidelines
