As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an essential role in fostering growth, independence, and engagement for learners with diverse needs in a collaborative school environment. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia OT license (required)
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized OT plans for students PreK–12
- Strong collaborative approach with teachers, families, and support staff
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and interpret results to develop intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to individualized student goals
- Collaborate regularly with special education and general education teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Educate parents and teachers on strategies for supporting growth in the school and at home
