Occupational Therapist School Setting in Mcdonough, GA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through high school in a vibrant educational setting just south of Atlanta. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an essential role in fostering growth, independence, and engagement for learners with diverse needs in a collaborative school environment. Desired Qualifications:

• Active Georgia OT license (required)
• Previous pediatric and/or school-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized OT plans for students PreK–12
• Strong collaborative approach with teachers, families, and support staff
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and interpret results to develop intervention strategies
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and contribute to individualized student goals
• Collaborate regularly with special education and general education teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate parents and teachers on strategies for supporting growth in the school and at home
