Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric clinical settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to effectively manage full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for students aged 6-12
  • Document progress, provide detailed reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to maximize student participation in school activities
  • Use evidence-based strategies to develop fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and school regulations for documentation and service delivery
