Occupational Therapist School Setting in Mckinney, TX

What we’re looking for:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in Texas
• Experience delivering OT services in schools, home health, or healthcare
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
• Firm grasp of IEP processes and documentation
• Adaptable, resourceful, and patient-centered approach
• Enthusiasm for supporting students from diverse backgrounds

Role responsibilities:

• Implement and document evidence-based OT interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student goals
• Assess student needs and progress, updating plans as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult on accommodations and assistive devices
• Provide resources and training to school staff and families as needed
• Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance with all regulations and guidelines
