Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth through Occupational Therapy in a dynamic school setting! We are seeking skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapists to serve the south end of the county for the upcoming academic year, with full-time schedules from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027.

As an Occupational Therapist working with school-aged children, you will be an essential part of helping students develop the skills they need for success in educational and social settings. With your expertise, you’ll create supportive environments and tailored interventions that foster student progress and confidence.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of Maryland
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement OT interventions for a diverse student population
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Organizational and documentation proficiency, with adaptability for changing caseload needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to assigned students according to their individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies supporting student participation
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports
  • Set and review student goals, in alignment with educational objectives
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
