Occupational Therapist School Setting - Mechanicsville, MD

Step into a rewarding opportunity providing occupational therapy services for students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time, contract position will focus on delivering care to two schools located on the south end of the county, working with diverse caseloads and making a meaningful impact from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapy license (MD OT License) required
• Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of school-based therapeutic interventions and IEP processes
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple student needs efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, per IEP mandates
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional success
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress reports, and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with parents and staff
• Deliver services across two designated district schools in the south end, ensuring continuity of care
