Support student development and play an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist for a contract position serving an Infant and Toddler caseload with a focus on Child Find services. What You’ll Need:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland (MD OT License required)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort in adapting to diverse developmental needs, especially among infants and toddlers
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing therapy services to support young children identified through Child Find, addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skill development
- Collaborating with families, educators, and related service professionals to create and implement individualized intervention plans
- Maintaining accurate records, progress monitoring, and reporting to meet compliance standards
- Participating in meetings and interdisciplinary planning to best serve each child’s unique needs
- Educating caregivers and staff on techniques and strategies to promote skill development outside of therapy sessions
