Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
• Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in evaluating students and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload
• Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to address students’ IEP goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports for each student
• Provide training and resources to staff and families as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning process
• Adapt interventions based on individual student progress
