Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and current Occupational Therapist license
- Experience providing OT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of educational intervention, sensory integration, and IEP process
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities within the school environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student participation and success
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
