Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active and current Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience providing OT services in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of educational intervention, sensory integration, and IEP process
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ motor skills and functional abilities within the school environment
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other team members to support student participation and success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, sessions, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
