Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain before starting)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for supporting students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy screenings, evaluations, and assessments
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document services and student progress according to school district guidelines
- Provide consultation, training, and support for school staff and parents
