Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) for Tennessee
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated new graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse student needs
- Effective communicator, adept at working both independently and within interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively contribute to team decision-making
- Engage in ongoing professional development
