Travel Occupational Therapist School Setting in Memphis, TN

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential services within a school setting. This role involves delivering targeted therapy to support students' developmental and functional goals, enhancing their ability to succeed academically and socially.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations to assess students’ individual needs and developing appropriate treatment plans
• Implementing therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive environments and facilitate student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education program (IEP) development

Preferred qualifications and skills:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in school-based settings
• Strong understanding of child development and educational strategies
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to travel to various school locations as needed
