Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-age children
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs and therapeutic plans
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in alignment with each IEP
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies within the classroom
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation for services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Offer guidance and education to families and staff on strategies to support students
