Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active, valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate students to identify occupational needs and barriers impacting academic performance
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each student’s IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain organized, timely records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Provide training or guidance to school staff regarding classroom adaptations and student needs
