Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active California OT license and CTC (required)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Comfortable adapting to itinerant travel between multiple sites
- Open to teletherapy (Voco) as well as in-person support
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Collaborative and proactive approach with education staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs to develop, implement, and update IEPs and therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services onsite or through virtual platforms
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
- Maintain thorough session logs, reports, and documentation for compliance
- Provide guidance to support staff and training where needed
- Travel between schools within the county as part of this itinerant model
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes
