Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active state OT license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse learners and IEP requirements
• Knowledge of current best practices in school-based occupational therapy

Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional abilities, sensory-motor skills, and sensory processing needs within the classroom
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs and school goals
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to help students achieve independence in fine motor, self-care, and classroom participation
• Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to educational teams and parents
• Collaborate with educators and other related service providers to integrate OT strategies across settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for data-driven decision making
• Educate staff and caregivers with strategies to support students’ success
