As a dedicated provider, you will supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), travel between multiple school sites, and work directly with students across the educational spectrum. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for innovative, student-centered practice.

Key qualifications:

• Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) required
• New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification required by start date (this certification can be obtained quickly)
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly desirable
• Ability and willingness to supervise COTAs
• Reliable transportation for travel between sites
• Open to both experienced OTs and qualified COTAs

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Travel to multiple schools to ensure diverse caseload needs are met
• Supervise and mentor COTAs as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families to promote student progress
