Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for Maine (or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Solid understanding of pediatric therapy practices and IEP development
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organized, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse student needs

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assessing students’ functional abilities and developing individualized therapy plans
• Implementing OT interventions, both one-on-one and in small group settings
• Contributing to IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams
• Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating updates to families and staff
• Providing guidance and resources to teachers and parents to enhance student learning and independence
• Participating in ongoing professional development as needed
