Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for Maine (or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Solid understanding of pediatric therapy practices and IEP development
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized, flexible, and committed to supporting diverse student needs
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assessing students’ functional abilities and developing individualized therapy plans
- Implementing OT interventions, both one-on-one and in small group settings
- Contributing to IEP meetings and collaborating with educational teams
- Documenting progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating updates to families and staff
- Providing guidance and resources to teachers and parents to enhance student learning and independence
- Participating in ongoing professional development as needed
