Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in home health OT settings is a plus
  • Ability to work independently; no COTA supervision involved
  • Commitment to full-time hours (37.5 per week) throughout the assignment
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT interventions to students, addressing their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess and document student progress, collaborating with educational staff and families
  • Adapt interventions and resources to support student participation and success in school routines
  • Consult with teachers and school staff to facilitate inclusion and student engagement
  • Utilize creative problem solving to help students achieve their goals within both classroom and home environments
  • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines for service delivery and documentation
