For the 2026-2027 academic year, this contract position is vital in supporting students’ growth and helping them achieve their fullest potential. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license valid for practice in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting, especially with middle school-aged students, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions within educational environments
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and staff
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt services to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and areas requiring intervention
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive behavior
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
  • Lead small group or one-on-one therapy sessions, providing targeted support and feedback
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and participation in meetings as required by school protocols and state regulations
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff on integrating therapeutic strategies into the classroom
