Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a skilled Occupational Therapist. This in-person position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 30th, providing valuable services to a caseload of 32 elementary-aged students (4K–elementary), including 24 direct service recipients.
Your expertise will help empower students’ growth and participation in daily academic life. School-based OT experience, home health exposure, and a passion for pediatric development will set you up for success in this meaningful role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with direct and consultative OT services in educational environments
- Comfortable managing an elementary-level caseload and collaborating with educators and families
- Background in home health OT considered a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to students (up to 24 direct services)
- Complete assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine individual student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate proactively with staff, parents, and other service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
