Step into a dynamic role working with high school students and young adults ages 18-22, providing essential occupational therapy services in an educational environment. This contract position is designed for a dedicated OT who thrives in diverse settings and values fostering independence and growth in young people. The assignment runs from July 6, 2026, to August 6, 2026, with a dedicated orientation and set-up day to get you acclimated before you dive in. Enjoy a consistent schedule, working Tuesday through Thursday, with staff hours that may vary by location, supporting a caseload that truly makes an impact.

Ideal applicants will bring:

  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally with high school students and transition-aged young adults (18-22)
  • Familiarity with home health OT and varied healthcare environments appreciated
  • Comfort adapting interventions to support a wide range of sensory, motor, and functional needs
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and other providers
  • Excellent documentation and time management abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability for working in-person across multiple locations as assigned

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapy for high school and 18-22-year-old students
  • Addressing students’ needs to support participation in educational and community settings
  • Maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation in line with school and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinating with other service providers and school personnel to maximize student outcomes
  • Attending meetings and contributing to progress discussions as needed
