Make a meaningful impact supporting students for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year as a full-time occupational therapist. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and make a difference in the educational journey of children and adolescents. Candidates with experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare occupational therapy settings will be especially valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in Delaware
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services to children or adolescents within educational or healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A thorough understanding of IEP documentation and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
  • Capability to develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ motor, behavioral, and adaptive needs
  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with individual education plans
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as required by school guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student independence and success
  • Contribute to eligibility meetings, progress reviews, and goal-setting discussions for students' continued growth
  • Participate in professional development and contribute your expertise to school initiatives
