Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, parents, and students
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and goal-setting
  • Ability to adapt activities to suit individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Assess, plan, and implement effective treatment strategies to promote student participation in school routines
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize each child’s potential
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and support development of appropriate accommodations and modifications
