Occupational Therapist School Setting in Middletown, DE

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure (or eligibility) in the state
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Solid understanding of IEPs, evaluations, assessments, and intervention planning
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine student goals
• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based OT interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to integrate therapy into students’ learning environment
• Document progress and prepare reports for IEP meetings
• Educate and support families and staff on strategies for success
