Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience providing OT services in school environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Comfort utilizing assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional strengths and challenges related to school performance
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across various grade levels
- Document interventions, progress, and outcomes according to school and legal guidelines
- Provide recommendations and training to staff and families to support carryover of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the student support team
